INMOTION SERVICE CENTER LIMITED WARRANTY
1. WARRANTY COVERAGE BY PRODUCT TYPE The specific warranty coverage depends on the type of product or service purchased from service.inmotionworld.com.
A. Refurbished Units (Electric Unicycles & Scooters)

Coverage: 30-Day Limited Warranty.

Details: We warrant that refurbished units will be free from functional defects in material and workmanship for a period of 30 days from the date of delivery.

Scope: This covers the Motor, Battery, Controller, and Mainboard against failure under normal use.

Exclusions: This warranty does not cover cosmetic blemishes (scratches/dents inherent to refurbished units), consumables (tires/tubes/grip tape), or damage caused by water, crashes, or abuse.
B. Spare Parts

Coverage: 30-Day Limited Warranty.

Details: Spare parts purchased through our site are warranted to be free from defects for 30 days from the date of delivery.

Installation Warning: Warranty on electronic components (Controllers, Motors, PCBs) is VOID if the part is damaged due to improper installation, short-circuiting during assembly, or failure to use thermal paste where required. We recommend professional installation.
C. Repair Services

Coverage: 30-Day Service Warranty.

Details: We guarantee our labor and the specific parts replaced during a repair for 30 days.

Scope: If the same issue reoccurs within 30 days due to a part defect or workmanship error, we will rectify it at no cost. New issues unrelated to the original repair are not covered.
2. MANUFACTURER WARRANTY (FOR NEW UNITS) The InMotion Service Center exclusively handles manufacturer warranty claims for new units that were purchased directly from the official website: inmotionworld.com.

Eligibility: You must provide the original Order Number from inmotionworld.com to validate your claim.

Other Dealers: If you purchased your InMotion product from a third-party dealer (e.g., Amazon, eWheels, Alien Rides, etc.), please contact that dealer directly for warranty service. We cannot process warranty claims for units bought from other vendors.

3. EXCLUSIONS (WHAT VOIDS THE WARRANTY) This Limited Warranty is void if the product is subjected to:

Uncertified Chargers: Damage caused by using third-party, fast-chargers, or any charger not certified/manufactured by InMotion.

Water Damage: Submersion, riding in heavy rain, or pressure washing.

Abuse: Stunt riding, jumping, or exceeding the weight/speed limits.

Modifications: Firmware hacking, shunting batteries, or cutting wires.

Neglect: Failure to charge the battery for extended periods (leading to deep discharge).

Accidents: Physical damage resulting from a crash or drop.
4. SHIPPING COSTS FOR WARRANTY CLAIMS

Refurbished/Parts (Within 30 Days): If a valid warranty defect is confirmed within the 30-day window, the InMotion Service Center will cover standard ground shipping costs to resolve the issue.

Manufacturer Claims (New Units): Shipping responsibility for manufacturer warranty claims follows InMotion Global policy. Generally, the customer is responsible for shipping the unit to the service center.

Invalid Claims: If a unit is sent in for warranty but found to have water damage, crash damage, or damage from uncertified chargers, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs and diagnostic fees.
5. HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM To initiate a warranty claim or repair request:

Required Information: You must provide your Order Number, Serial Number, and a Video/Photo demonstrating the issue.

Approval: Do not ship your unit until you receive a Ticket Number and shipping instructions.
6. SHIPPING DAMAGE If your order arrives damaged during transportation:

You must notify us within 7 days of receipt.

Provide clear photos of the damaged box and the product.

Keep all original packaging until the claim is resolved.
7. LEGAL DISCLAIMER THIS IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY. INMOTION SERVICE CENTER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (SUCH AS LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF USE, OR COMMERCIAL LOSS). THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
